MERRY CHRISTMAS

Wishing everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS. Hope this day brings prosperity in everyones life.

Here is a Christmas Carol which is quite famous(Jingle Bells) :

Dashing through the snow

On a one-horse open sleigh,

Over the fields we go,

Laughing all the way;

Bells bob-tail ring,

making spirits bright,

What fun it is to ride and sing

A sleighing song tonight

Jingle Bells Jingle Bells,

Jingle all the way!

O what fun it is to ride

In a one-horse open sleigh

A day or two ago,

I thought I'd take a ride,

And soon Miss Fanny Bright

Was seated by my side;

The horse was lean and lank;

Misfortune seemed his lot;

He got into a drifted bank,

And we, we got upsot.

Jingle Bells Jingle Bells,

Jingle all the way!

What fun it is to ride

In a one-horse open sleigh.

A day or two ago,

the story I must tell

I went out on the snow

And on my back I fell;

A gent was riding by

In a one-horse open sleigh,

He laughed as there

I sprawling lie,

But quickly drove away.

Jingle Bells Jingle Bells,

Jingle all the way!

What fun it is to ride

In a one-horse open sleigh.

Now the ground is white

Go it while you're young,

Take the girls tonight

And sing this sleighing song;

Just get a bob-tailed bay

two-forty as his speed

Hitch him to an open sleigh

And crack! you'll take the lead.

Jingle Bells Jingle Bells,

Jingle all the way!

What fun it is to ride

In a one-horse open sleigh.

The Over

Aint this a bit of an absurd title for a blog.

Well this over signifies the six subjects which we had in our last semester and since an over in the game of cricket so an over with each paper representing each ball of the over with the paper setters being the bowlers.I will say how each bowl was for me being the batsman.

1st ball
DCS-II : A yorker but very artfully defended by the batsman.

All the questions were centered around a single topic,though it was important it was quite unfair for the students who worked hard to prepare other topics because unlike the topic which came in the exam others required a lot of memorization ,so eventhough I was able to attempt all the questions but I was not satisfied .Hence it was a mixed baggage for me

2nd ball
Java:A short delivery which was easily handled by the batsman and hit hard

A good mix of application and theory and I was satisfied after writing the answer sheet.So,it was a good paper.

3rd ball
CA : A totally unplayable bouncer

All the questions were totally out of the blue for the students and everyone was shocked after coming from the exam hall so it couldn't have been worse than this.This was the only positive I could see after the exam.

4th ball
LINUX : A good ball which was treated with respect by the batsman

The exam was quite simply set and the most of the difficult topics were not covered in the paper,but seeing the amount of syllabus it was expected to be a tough paper .But,it was not meant to be,hence,quite satisfactory paper which was handled well.

5th ball
DBMS : A prejudged short length ball outside the off stump

I was afraid since I was overconfident in this subject but,the paper setter takes my respect for setting the paper according to my strength .A totally satisfactory paper required quite a lot of thinking required to attempt the application based questions and theory questions were such that if you are clear with the concepts one could attempt them

6th ball
OB : Full toss hit hard

Totally light exam with only basics required to be studied and minimum effort required in preparation.So,quite easy paper aptly handled

PS :
I am saying how I handled the papers.How many runs I score will be decided by the examiner who is the fielder

Lazy

All I can say that I am laziness personified,no one can be lazier than me.I am one person who will try to find the easiest possible way to do the task with minimum effort and quite unusually be successful in doing that also.

You people will agree with this seeing that although I had pledged to be a regular blogger,I am not what is what you can conventionally call "REGULAR".Every time I know what excuse I have to make before I start a new blog so this blog should have been titled rather aptly"The Exploits of a Lazy Soul",rather than "World from my eyes".

I like doing things at my own pace and in my own way.I spend more time thinking and planning , after that if I am not too late,I do what is required.the plans made are extravagant and larger than life and purely fictional.But,once I get down to doing the things I end up completing them in a matter of moments. So all that can be said is I am lazy but still enthusiastic.Its what is called laziness with a difference

Xams Over

Hey guys!

I know that I had promised to be a regular blogger ,but what to do the predicaments of a tech student stopped me from writing more regularly.
My fifth semester xams have just concluded yesterday and still I am lazy enough to write the next post today.

Only I can tell you how the past two weeks of the end term theory and the earlier weeks for external practicals and internal theory and practicals passed. Looking back all I can think is that it was not at all that bad and I did leave some scope for hard work.But,as I believe its better to look on the positive side and be happy,then look at the negative side with a mindset developed to think it can be avoided in the future.

The exams were not really that bad and I am all ready to take the full responsibility for whatever the result comes.I have given exams being less prepared but,this time around it was a bit different.The preparation was done with a different mindset altogether.I did not work for the result.Rather,I worked to enjoy what i was doing and it really helped as right now am not scared of whatever the result is going to be,I know that I tried and whatever the result is will be deserved by me,and most importantly I, like the past did not CHEAT,which is a common phenomenon in the college exams for many students.
These people do score more than me,but ,I do not feel bad as I think in future my application of concepts will help me more than the marks obtained by cheating,or mugging up of concepts.
All I pray to god is that my faith in this belief should not be shaken.
Amen!

New Me

As the golden saying goes.........In this world there is nothing permanent other than change.
So let it be.

Long time no post.Think I had been suffering from writer's block....lol.....nice excuse not to write.
But yeah I think I have changed a lot in the time i have not posted anything.After all thats what life is ....CHANGE.If you try to resist change it will destroy you.

A more positive attitude has been developed.Trying to enjoy when i go wrong and take the past away from myself that has been the major lessons learnt by me.
Past is a teacher,but can never be our goal.

We can learn from our past but can never go back to it.The hallmark of a successful man is how he balances past present and future.

Learn from past,live in present and plan for future.That is the approach i now follow.Laughter is now my integral part.Rest what can i write??

All I can say I have changed but it is still not complete....its a different me which I feel

Twenty20

Yipeeeeeee India wins the T20's first ever world cup.It was an amazing tournament with the players pumped up.
India's tournament began on a sour note with their first game washed out.But the kind of cricket they played in the next games made them the worthy champions.The mood is ecastic with celebrations on everywhere.
The team we had in this tournament had all players chipping in at the crucial moments,and ensuring that the game was never lost.The very first match showed their resolve by holding onto their nerves eventhough Pakistan needed only 1 run from 2 balls ,and ensuring a draw .Then they won in the bowl out.
The only game they lost was to New Zealand,even that match had a close finish.The next 4 games including finals were do or die situation for India.They beat England.Then it was South Africa's turn who were beaten by a comfortable margin in Durban,ensuring that the Africans couldn't make it to the semis,then the might of the Aussies crumbled in front of the Indians and they lost the game by 15 odd runs.
In the finals it was India v/s Pakistan the mother of all competitions that too a T20 world cup final.The match was a close one with India stealing the victory from Pakistan.

This makes INDIA the CHAMPION of T20 Cricket.
All the Indians out there hail the almighty

Laugh

Everyone says there is no language barrier for laughter but what one doesn't know is that there are different ways in which one can laugh. I will list a few styles,please add comments on the styles I am missing here.

1.LOUD He He:The most common form of laugh it is also the most innocent form.

2.Devil Laugh:This one scares the hell out of people.You can hear it from miles and feel shiver

3.Mischief Laugh:It is a normal He He kind of laugh but the tone and the eyes of the person tell the intentions of that person

4.Tyre Puncture Laugh:You can identify this one because when you hear it it gives u a feeling that there must be a vehicle nearby whose just had a flat

5.Hyna Laugh:This is not a true laugh.It is there to insult someone

6.False laugh:This one does not reach the person's eyes.He laughs to please someone or out of frustration at his own self

Thats it.These are the only ones of which I could guess If there are any more please leave me a comment.
