Weird

This is the way I am feeling there are three reasons for it.
After exams I went to Gangtok and returned on 24th.After analyzing properly I have now got three reasons for feeling weird.

Reason 1:
Gangtok is a part of India, there the way everything was organized was making it look as if it is out of India. The entire place was so neat and tidy, law was prevailing and yes there was a fear of law and law enforcement agencies over there. This is something which I find very unique. If it can be implemented in one part of the country then why not everywhere else?

Reason 2:Fuel cess

Our very concerned government has found a novel way of trying to rope in the fuel price rise,by implementing the fuel cess.Though the whole thing is being proposed still it sounds totally ridiculous that something like this could even be thought by our politicians.

Common man who properly pays taxes will pay a certain amount added to his tax so that government has enough money to buffer the rise. What about the large duties payed by the oil companies to the government, why don't they try reducing that or prove to us how are they utilizing the money they earn from it for our benefit. They will put up some lame excuses but why should they give the money they are stealing from our national reserve for the benefit of the common man who elects them to power.

Right now because of the high taxes by the government on the fuel and duties for import the oil prices in our country can easily qualify to be the highest, but who cares? Not,our politicians. Why should the fuel of a business man's car be paid for by service person?Businessman can hide his income and avoid taxes. What about the serving person?

#Mukherjee reiterated his anti-price hike stance giving the reason that the pricing policy was not transparent enough.“When you are talking of $130 per barrel – the crude price – is coming from outside, that is 75 per cent. 25 per cent is being supplied by our own companies like ONGC, which are supplying at about $50-60 per barrel. The average price is then $100 per barrel. That comes down to about Rs 25 per litre. If 25 rupees is the price of crude oil, what justification can be given for prices being Rs 45 for petrol or Rs 36 for diesel? This is because of the tax component,” he explained.

Please understand the viewpoint of a common man.

Reason 3:Gujjar standoff

I am falling short of words to describe my disgust here. These people think that they can snatch away what they want, and the way government is reacting,it seems they will achieve that.In this 21st century people think of moving forward but they are trying to fall down.Half the people protesting will have no idea of the thing they are protesting for,and if they do they have no idea of its implications. They are holding cities and state to ransom. They are no protesters, they are terrorists,if not to the hilt but they are no better than them.Government should ask the army to open fire,as rail and road transport is being blocked leading to nation's losses.Once firing starts people will realize that national property is not to be held ransom
