I am the oppressed queen

I am the daughter of a dalit
Oppressed harassed
Facing the society and its filth
Money was scarcely in my hands
Now that I have power
On bundles of it do I stand
I have no mercy
I have no shame
Say what you can
I will never change
My community was downtrodden
Now I shall rise
I will collect money from any means
Give me way
I am the oppressed queen

All the lower castes are my brothers
The should also see
The life of poverty
Through which I have been
I rose through the difficulties
So I shall give them the same
Through the struggles
They shall win
A life of bare means
Which I want them to see
I shall take money for the statues
They shall see and bow in gratitude
Coz yesterday I was one of them
Today I stand tall majestically
Bow in front of me
I am the oppressed queen

Back off THIS IS MY COUNTRY

There is a ghostly silence in the street
The door is locked
No one there to even speak
Yesterday they were all shouting
Taking out demonstration
Trying to take over this very valley
I want to tell those very souls
Back off THIS IS MY COUNTRY

You raised a ruckus
When the security crossed its boundaries
Not that I support their act
But you must raise voice
When your 'own fighters'
Go and cross the line
I cant see your silence
Its showing your weak morality
You want to divide this heaven
This will not happen in eternity
So all I can say to your troubled soul is
Back off THIS IS MY COUNTRY

You can take it as insolence
Or you can take it as a threat
This is one nation
To save it from enemy
Its citizens can go through hell
Silent we are
But dont take us to be weak
The silence of tigers you can never understand
You shall all run for shelter
When together we shall stand
That day there would be a roar telling you
Back off THIS IS MY COUNTRY

If you are happy in the enemy's arms
You can always leave
For we dont want traitors
Whose morality is not clean
If you are staying here
Learn to respect the peace
It might not last forever
When through your cover
The objective is seen
Then the people who support you
Shall leave and scream
Back off THIS IS MY COUNTRY

SILENT LOVE

This post is a dedication to a friend of mine.I am writing about something she writes but in my own style so if I make a mistake sorry to her.

I have some dreams to make my life
In those dreams
I just see you as mine
These are some feelings
I wish they were fact of life
I cant tell you but wish you could read my smile

Silently I stand on the door
Waiting for you to come
Promising myself that
I would tell you my reason
The silence on my lips
For what I feel
Theres a storm in my heart
As if asking me

I want you to know what I feel is true
Standing against all the world
If it has to be for you
I dont care what everyone says
Coz I do what my heart speaks
But even then I ask what makes my lips freeze

I speak no words
Even though the heart bleeds
I dont want you to see the blood
Where ever it seeps
I can smile in front of you
But you cant see the tears in my eyes

All I will say
I would wait till the end of time
I have no fear
I can look into the world's eyes
I can wait til the time you want
Till you are convinced that
I do not lie

Cry for better representatives

He did the murder
He was so cold
But no one dares touch him
What makes him so bold?
That he fears none
Whether young or old
Is this what we see
Was no one ever told?

No regret is there on his face
This show of insolence
Should put us to shame
It is we who elect him
Show him the power and fame
He has done no wrong
Coz this what he knows
We dance to his song
Or is it really what we want
They fight each other
But never in jail
No court order
Can give them a change in gaze

They know how to plunder
They have sold their soul
Why we elect them I wonder
Do we want the nation turned to ghoul?
Their motives all foul
The spirit long gone
I wonder why we shudder
When we give the nation to the dogs
Every time theres a news on a new political crime
I turn to the sports channel
With a faint smile
The story is same each passing day
They commit a crime
Then join politics
This happens all the time

It is not their fault
We are the ones who should be fined
Even when we know the past
We give them the time
They use it to plan a bigger thing
And here we sit in our home
Hoping to see a change they promise to bring

Nothing will change
Things will remain the same
But, then we can hope for a bit of sunshine
Why do we elect them
Lets show them the door
Take the controls and guide the ship home

ME

I look deep in the eyes
Searching for mystery
That defines my life
I know somethings holding me
Trying to show
Beyond my misery
Short sighted is what I am
Fearing the unkown
Heading far away from my own plan

There is a dark alley
Dead end somewhere down the line
I need to find the door
That leads into a place I can call mine
I am surrounded by the crowd
Everyone trying to pull me down
It is a moment of grief
When I cant be where I want to be

The hopes broken
The will is torn
Still putting a brave face
Like a mask worn
Playing the game
Without morality
The moments of peace
And serenity
Still searching with sincerity
Trying to find the face
Which i can recognize with certainty

I walk alone in this world
People with feelings so cold
I shiver with grief
I am not sure whether its just me
Might be hoping for more
That I feel lost now
Just cant be too sure
Think I may bow
The worlds cruel
Thats my own belief
Want to escape
To a place where I can breathe

Gifts

There are times
When I am not sure
Hear the cries
Feel something cold
I have the words
But dont know what to say
Because the meaning is lost
But,to what I pray?

The shallow words
Full of deceit
My heart just curls
To see where it fits
Purity of feelings
None around
The life of being
Without listening to the deep sound

Words spoken
When nothing is said
None to understand them
Of this am afraid
The meanings
Would be lost forever
Forgotten from our memories
Like a lost treasure

The sparkle of eyes
The sound of honest laugh
Why dont we measure
The value of this kind of treasure
These are the gifts of god
We seldom appreciate
If we had done
Wouldnt we be great
