Truth

The worlds a theater
Everyone plays his part
It doesnt really matter
They dont care who you are
They will come to you
They will make you star
The moment they are done
You will be asked who you are

This is the way it has to be
This is harsh reality
Learn to live like this
The good treatment is all a myth
Cherish the good times
The warm sunshine
You never know when it is gone

I want to say
Everyday is not Sunday
Follow the trend
Be your own best friend
This is the way you will survive
This is the way to reach great heights
Carry your dreams
On your own feet
One never knows
What life shows
This is the way it has to be
This is harsh reality

MY Country My Love

Moving away from peace
Trying to gain prosperity
Thinking on these lines
Whom shall we grant victory?

None seems interested
When I talk of this country
Thinking that I am a fool
All move towards their destiny

My heart aches
When I think of the nation's misery
But,There is something wrong
We all seem to agree

Putting the blame
Thinking it's a game
None tries to help
Saying it's all in history

Lessons we learn
Have no effect
No matter how educated
We may be

Fooling around
Selling our soul
We think
It is prosperity

Misguided in faith
Blinded by belief
None can see the misery....

Is this What it was meant to be

Walking on these empty streets
Watching the soldiers on the beat
Hearing the cry from a distance
Feeling pain in the deep
Hoping its just a bad dream
Is this what it was meant to be??

Hearing the sound of gunshots far away
Death is playing its dirty game
People fleeing towards safety
City transformed into battle field
Markets silent
No one around
Is this what its meant to be??

This place was once heaven on earth
Of flowers there was never a dearth
The houseboats floating in the lake
Dirt and blood is now what we see
Is this what it was meant to be??

The apathy of the Leaders we see
Trying to rake in profits from this melee
Pain of the bereaved no one can see
Vested interests is what it is
No one understands what it means
Still they fight on the streets
Is this what it was meant to be??

Freedom is what one party wants
Land is other's need
Why none can see the blood that flows so freely
I used to call him my brother
Now he faces me like my enemy
Is such the value of the things
Brother becomes brother's enemy?
Once they were our neighbors
Today they would rather kill us
Just the small transformation of the beings
Is this what it was meant to be??

Today I celebrated my independence day
They raised the flag of neighboring country
None tried to stop them
Is this really my country?
I cannot fathom why it is
None does think of this country
Please stop this violence
And realize how you are making it bleed
Let there be peace
Because THIS is what it is meant to be......

Happy Independence Day

I would like to wish every Indian a very happy independence day
61 years ago on this very day our nation got independence from British rule.Today is a day we analyze the state of our nation and ask ourselves have we achieved what we should have?
Is the progress and its speed satisfying?

My answer to these question is no.In fact I can state that even though we are independent we still are not. I will highlight it in the following part of the blog

1.We are ruled by corrupt politicians. They have taken place of the corrupt British government and are exploiting the nation.Their personal vendettas become national goals, their tenure in power becomes a time to mint as much money as possible. They show zero moral as highlighted during July 22 trust vote.We can not have a single party government and all the allies of the government are instrumental in its policy making. The politicians still have a divisive approach towards the common man as highlighted in Jammu and Kashmir scenario,OBC quota...etc.
We need independence from such politicians.

2.We are nonchalant.Today the educated middle class is immune to the worries of the nation they are more interested in minting money and surviving that they have adopted a nonchalant attitude towards the nation.Just ask yourself if given an option would you like to exercise your right to vote??You will prefer to sit at home and relax. We need independence from this.

3.We are narrow minded.Small things said by the divisive politician can turn us against our countrymen. We still think on regional and religious basis. This helps them to divert the attention away from the REAL issues that plague the nation. This stops our motion towards being a more developed nation, towards achieving greater prosperity. We damage our national property thinking that it is of government. But,one must remember that it is OUR property bought by the government from the taxes we pay to it.We need independence from this.

These are the few problems I wanted to highlight on this Independence Day.One must remember we are all Indians and are one.Whether from north or south,Karnataka or Punjab,Hindu or Muslim,Brahmin or Sc we all are Indians created by god and sent to live in this beautiful country. Why spoil the beauty by fighting against one another?

Lessons

yoyoyo
m back with a whole lot of things to share
first of all i will be in fourth year in august den my birthday is also coming so I am in a totally good mood with nothing to spoil it

These are somethings which can wait and i can write about them later too

I will tell more about my internship which will get over on Friday and I enjoyed every bit of it.Even the part of going to and from office was a lot of fun.In fact it makes me write this testimonial today.

On the way ,you meet many people. You forget many but, some do leave an impression on your mind.I will begin with my usual schedule and putting my own accounts here and there.

I always plan to catch the morning 9am chartered bus to Gurgaon it is another thing that I always end up getting 9:15 or 9:30 am chartered .so much for the good intentions spoiled .
I will now list the peculiar things I have experienced on my way to and fro from office

1 No matter how full the bus is ,there always scope to adjust a couple of more passengers
2 Ladies deserve to be treated like queens so a dedicated and well mannered conductor for them
3 I have had the privilege of walking long distances to reach the place from where I can get cycle rickshaws
4 There is only one fixed price for each rickshaw wallahs you must have the authority to bring their price down at once
5 Always carry a bottle of water with you because you never know how long the bus driver might want to take
6 Keep a bottle of deodorant handy because by the time you get off along with your own you will carry the odor of your co passengers and it will make the office people feel disgusted
7 Learn to overlook the bad manners of people like digging their noses, spitting all the way en route
8 There will be people who will think their conversation on their latest mobile should be heard by everyone around
9 There will be people with fake accents all around you
10 People will step on your feet and will not be apologetic at all
11 There will be people who are nice enough and will be your friends
12 Be prepared for a contingency plan in case the operator decides to ditch you en route or not come at all
13 Always listen to news so that you are prepared in case of strikes which result in road blockades
14 Try to be regular in a particular bus , it will give u added advantage over others who are not regular
15 Dont be pissed off if u see that ladies have reserved seats which are fiercely guarded by the conductors and driver
16 Be helpful always
17 Try to remain cheerful think of nice things when traveling
18 Do not adjust too much else you would be in trouble
19 Try to strike up conversation with people you are traveling with it shortens the difference
20 Do not lecture others about the harms of alcohol and tobacco

These things have been absorbed my me and now I remain least bothered while traveling.

P.S:I have no intention of any offence

Cheers Nishant

Weird

This is the way I am feeling there are three reasons for it.
After exams I went to Gangtok and returned on 24th.After analyzing properly I have now got three reasons for feeling weird.

Reason 1:
Gangtok is a part of India, there the way everything was organized was making it look as if it is out of India. The entire place was so neat and tidy, law was prevailing and yes there was a fear of law and law enforcement agencies over there. This is something which I find very unique. If it can be implemented in one part of the country then why not everywhere else?

Reason 2:Fuel cess

Our very concerned government has found a novel way of trying to rope in the fuel price rise,by implementing the fuel cess.Though the whole thing is being proposed still it sounds totally ridiculous that something like this could even be thought by our politicians.

Common man who properly pays taxes will pay a certain amount added to his tax so that government has enough money to buffer the rise. What about the large duties payed by the oil companies to the government, why don't they try reducing that or prove to us how are they utilizing the money they earn from it for our benefit. They will put up some lame excuses but why should they give the money they are stealing from our national reserve for the benefit of the common man who elects them to power.

Right now because of the high taxes by the government on the fuel and duties for import the oil prices in our country can easily qualify to be the highest, but who cares? Not,our politicians. Why should the fuel of a business man's car be paid for by service person?Businessman can hide his income and avoid taxes. What about the serving person?

#Mukherjee reiterated his anti-price hike stance giving the reason that the pricing policy was not transparent enough.“When you are talking of $130 per barrel – the crude price – is coming from outside, that is 75 per cent. 25 per cent is being supplied by our own companies like ONGC, which are supplying at about $50-60 per barrel. The average price is then $100 per barrel. That comes down to about Rs 25 per litre. If 25 rupees is the price of crude oil, what justification can be given for prices being Rs 45 for petrol or Rs 36 for diesel? This is because of the tax component,” he explained.

Please understand the viewpoint of a common man.

Reason 3:Gujjar standoff

I am falling short of words to describe my disgust here. These people think that they can snatch away what they want, and the way government is reacting,it seems they will achieve that.In this 21st century people think of moving forward but they are trying to fall down.Half the people protesting will have no idea of the thing they are protesting for,and if they do they have no idea of its implications. They are holding cities and state to ransom. They are no protesters, they are terrorists,if not to the hilt but they are no better than them.Government should ask the army to open fire,as rail and road transport is being blocked leading to nation's losses.Once firing starts people will realize that national property is not to be held ransom

Reservations

I know I am a bit late in writing about it,but, still its worthwhile to get my voice out at least here.Supreme Court read out its judgment it said that the quota should be implemented but creamy layer should be kept out of this, which according to me is a good decision because it will enable the people who are actually in need to reap the benefits of the system and if the seats are not utilized to be transferred to the general category.

But,now our worthy politicians who have the job of running this nation on their hands, think the exclusion of creamy layer has dampened the atmosphere. You can very well see from this what is the main intention of our politicians.Their motive is to get power and find ways to retain it so that they can make money and bleed the nation, and now they even have the audacity to admit it.No wonder this country is going to the dogs.

At a time when people are striving to climb the social ladder, here people fight to climb down it so that they can get cheap benefits.Supreme Court had appointed a bench of 5 judges out of which three judges observed that after graduation a person is no longer educationally backward hence there is no need for reservation in post graduation courses, but, the minister Arjun Singh is going ahead with OBC reservation in post graduation courses making their route to please ignorant illiterate voters. They say that they want to bring changes to life of the underprivileged then, why do they ask for inclusion of creamy layer in OBC quota?

A request for our opinionated and knowledgeable politburo please do not mess with our higher education system. If you really want to bring effective changes why don't you start at grass root level in villages where only a few children actually end up passing class 12th .Please try to first ensure that they pass class 12th,once they are able to do so then will we be able to say hat our nation is moving forward, otherwise we all will be living in disillusioned country.

EXAM TIMES

AAh
Feels so nice to be back in this world :)

but this is going to be my last post till 16th may 2008,coz till then i will b having xams

forgetting all the crap ,I will enjoy today as i have finally done over with my 2nd internals of 6th sem

Now I am nearly 1 year away from being a qualified engineer. It sounds a bit too serious to me:)
The University has done us a BIG favor by preponing our exams to 5th may and believe me the students are not too enthusiastic about them

Reason being that since exams start on 5th of may we have to be done with our external practical exams by 25th April this means next to next week.Hence next week we will have our internal practicals, phew, boy is that something.

Being nearly engineers we know that work is supposed to start near the end of the deadline ,but,if the deadline is preponed everyone gets into BIG trouble regarding the practical files which are supposed to be completed near the internal practical time.

we have following practicals and this is my knowledge regarding them

MPS:My Periodic Suffering

DSP:Degree Stopping Paper(Its a common short form )

DWDM:Disgraced Without Damn Marks

OOSE: hmm tough to decide full form.........comment me about some fullforms

MMT:My Marked Torture

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

Finally my first post of this year. The lazy blogger is back.

One of my new year resolutions is to be a bit more regular with my blogs

This year started on a high thanks to the quality time I spent with my friends on the 4th of January. But,I guess that's the only thing I will have to cheer about as now I am in 6th semester ,i.e. the most tough semester of all.

The reason being that we will be having the tough subjects with some teachers known to be regular slave drivers along with that we have our placements

Then we will have to study for the seminar and project synopsis for the next semester project, this means no rest nd lesser play hence an excuse for not blogging regularly again.

Sorry people
Happy new Year again
